No matter your preferred rate of retrieve, the 7 to 10 foot model will trigger most of your strikes when making contact with the bottom. Pause and go, or slow and steady, let your fish tell you what they like. Aim for the windblown rocky points on a spring day, or scattered timber on side imaging, and sharpen those hook setting reflexes!
